Needed another snack for fishing so Calzone seemed a gooder choice as any to add to me Cool box(well, thats if I aint eaten em all hot.)...re heat in foil in Plot barB embers..!!!!!!!

Right, lets get the Pizza Dough sorted.

Basic Pizza Dough

25g Fresh Yeast
8 Fl oz of warm water
Pinch of sugar
1 tsp salt
400g Strong Plain White Flour

Add Yeast to warm water, and stir, then add sugar and stir again, then leave for 10 mins.

Add Flour to Yeast mixture, then salt.

Combine to a soft dough, then put on bread board and knead for 10 mins
till its elastic.

Put in oiled bowl and cover with clingfilm for 1 hour.

Return to board, and divide into 4 pieces.

Roll out dough on floured board to 4mm thickness ,use 20cm plate as template.

Contents Ingredients

350g Ricotta Cheese
175g Mini Mozzerella Cheese Pearls
100g Grated Parmesan
6oz Ham slices cut into small pieces
10 leaves of Fresh Basil
1 tin of Italian Tomatoes chopped(well drained of fluid)
salt & Pepper to taste
1/4 tsp Italian seasoning per Calzone
Olive Oil for brushing

Combine filling ingredients in a bowl and season.

Spoon some mixture onto half of rolled out dough, leaving 1 cm around the edge...add extra Basil if preferred and Italian Seasoning....season well.

Wet dough edge and bring flap over mixture and crimp edges together then brush Calzone with Olive Oil.

heat oven to 200 degrees.

Place Calzone on middle shelf for 20 mins,or untill outer shell is crisp and
slightly burned.

Cool on rack or eat hot.

Be careful,as you,ll burn ya lips on the contents as the cheese ooooozes
out,so cut it open for a few mins.

These eat cold real nice too  !!!!!!!!!!! but only 1 day after making as if contents is too wet itll soften pastry.

Oh go on...eat em hot..!!!!!!!!! there gooooey and moreish !!!!

Enjoy
