One O me faves for salami munching is this bread loaf.

Ingredients

500g White Bread Flour
10ml salt
20g Fresh Yeast
200ml Lukewarm Water
2 tbsp Caster Sugar
2 Eggs
75g Melted Butter
150g Parmesan Cheese Grated
100g Sundried Tomatoes chopped
1 tsp Italian Seasoning

Glaze

1 egg yolk
1 tbsp water

Mix Flour and salt together, meantime add Yeast, sugar and lukewarm water together and leave for 10 mins.

Then add to Flour mix along with melted butter and 2 eggs.

Combine together to form a dough, then flatten out and add cheese and tomatoes and Italian Seasoning then form together.

Place in oiled bowl and cover with clingfilm for 1 hour or untill doubled in size.

Knock back and recover for a further 1 hour or doubles in size.

Place dough onto board and divide into 4 equal pieces.

Roll out into 4 x 15 inch lengths

Join together at top.

Working from left.......count across to 3rd plait and lift.....placing 1st plaint underneath and across 4th.

Do exactly the same procedure till all 4 lengths are plaited together, then join ends under loaf together.

Recover with clingfilm and place in warm room for a further 30 mins.

Mix egg yolk and 1 tbsp of water together and wash loaf prior to baking.

Heat oven to 200 degrees, place tray of hot water in bottom of oven.

Place Bread in middle of oven and cook for 10 mins then remove water tray, and cook for further 25 mins(My fan oven did the job on..........
180 degrees for 25 mins.

Remove Plait and cool on a wire tray.

Slice and spread with Melted Garlic Butter and Top with Napoli Salami.

Enjoy

Gazza, you are a star. I hope Mrs Gazza knows what a treasure she has...thank you so much for the trouble you take to show these recipes from start to finish. I'm a keen breadmaker and this one looks very do-able......
