Can anyone recomend a bush french bean for early production under glass or plastic needs to be green (so says the missus). When would you plant for a warm greenhouse and under cloches.

I know you said green but some of the yellow dwarf beens are speedy and yummy.

I'll always be growing an early tub of Sonesta which are a lovely waxy bean and also Lidl do one called Kinghorn Wax which is actually a bit less waxy and more like a standard green bean but still pretty good eating.

Speedie really does live up to its name.... it's only intended as a quick return before the maincrops come in though, it sets when it's about half the size of some DFB's... isn't massively prolific, it will have finished as the Cobra's come in... I guess if you're going to have some in the GH it'll be even earlier.... you';ll need some outdoors too to bridge between the GH ones and the maincrops though...

I found Teepee is very quick too.  Beans purple but they turn green on cooking.

Molly is another good one for early production under glass.
