This may be in the wrong chat room??

Busy afternoon today... erected 10 building site fence panels. I have blagged enough to almost fence my whole plot.. more coming next year when the building site raps up..  Tomorrow do another 6 panels along with getting more raised pathway done...

My "construction site" is slowly taking shape..  As previously said I'm doing all the big work first then will concentrate on the digging..

wow..talking about security....are you planning to grow some money trees? ;D

gavinjconway

I wish I had some seed..

It's mainly to get a decent fence as the old one was in tatters and also to grow beans and squashes etc. on.. Quite  a few of the plots have them and it works well. The security side is mainly the bottom end which is open to a public thoroughfare.. the plots do have the odd break-in so it all helps..

What you want is a solid thorn hedge. That combined with a stout gate works wonders. Does anyone have money tree seed or cuttings?

gavinjconway

There's lots of thorny Brambles  at the bottom and an old fence.. but people will get in if they really want to!!  Rob please let me know when yo find some Money seeds... i'll do the same for you..  ;D

I did at one time have a persistent thief who ended up crawling under my neighbour's front hedge, and then under my side hedge. Broken glass buried in the vegetation sorted that one. A casual thief will take one look and go somewhere easier!

Robert, I think you mean broken glass that was accidently left under the hedge  ;)

Of course it was accidental. Very effective though.
