Suppose I should have been more clever and ask this first before ordering.. ::)
But has anybody made any flour/grain orders from them before?..any problems..or not?

Ok..another question..
If you get message that your order is dispatched..and the arrival time is between 3-4 pm yesterday..and nothing never materialize..courier ( DPD UK) don't have anybody to 'talk to'..sender (Doves farm)..don't return your messages or phone calls...what do you do or can do? Parcel is all paid for..goods are just missing and I can't stay in home forever to wait something that may or may not arrive. Nor can I change delivery instruction or destination as I haven't got assignment number from the  first attempted delivery...its all soooo automated.. >:(
I'm seriously loosing my temper here..

Sorry no experience but a health food shop would probably be able to order for you in the future or have you tried that one too.

grannyjanny

PS did Doves give you a number so you could track the order?

DPD are usually ok give them a call :)

The number to call if you are expecting a parcel. You will be able to obtain your 1 hour delivery time window and you can rebook your delivery to a more suitable date. Please make sure you have to hand the parcel number for the shipment you wish to track or you can track using your mobile phone number.

Pheww....it arrived.. ::) Doves..got in touch with me eventually..after 3 calls and email message... ::)
Explanation was that courier couldn't deliver everything yesterday..understandable..but if they are able to list where the parcel is going different times a day..why oh why they can't send message and let me know that they are not able keep up with their timetable... ::)..modern technology.. ::)
GJ..health food shops are sooo expensive if you want more than just little bag of something.
DPD are usually ok give them a call ..I did and it was all automated...no real person to talk to.
Anyway...rant mood is over now...I got what I ordered..and I can calm down now.. ;D...well I haven't check the contents yet.. :-X

Oh, thats ok...I went to their web site where they list they contact numbers..only few options and the ones I tried weren't no good. They don't even give phone number for local depot.. ::)
25kg of rye grains are now inspected..well not individually ::)..and so far I'm happy.
Now that I'm calmed down..I might consider another order few weeks time...and that would be sack of wheat.. ;D

make sure you get a tracking number then you can see where it is :) and follow up anything missing orders ;)

Too late now but do you know of the saynoto0870 website.  It gives geographical (cheaper) numbers for 0870, 0845, 0844 etc, numbers and you can often find a switchboard or depot number there.

There's a page of alternatives for the number you had.
