Sweetbite and other small growing peppers

I've been looking for a useful small growing pepper suitable for pots, more a sort of windowsill type.

I'm wondering if anyone is growing sweetbite peppers, or tried before? I have a few plants growing from seed I had in a swap. My plants are really quite small 4-6'', which I was not expecting. They don't seem very vigorous, although healthy enough and are setting a few fruit. I wonder if this is an intention of the breeder for its progeny?

In contrast I'm also growing some Miniature Chocolate peppers from ISSA an open pollinated variety which have produced bigger plants with lots of branching. Good amount of flowers which are setting well, fruits are small in size. I'm looking forward to them turning a 'chocolate' colour, all fruits are still green at the moment.

Any recommendations for a variety to try next year?

There is variety..Cherry Pick Hybrid that I used to buy from Totally Tomatoes when they still had UK branch. Those I did liked A LOT. You can still get them from other side of 'pond'.. ::)
They were fab..small enough to grow on a window sill (not that small that yours in pic is)...but still grew good size if planted on border...and really, really good cropper of small and red peppers. I used to grow both ways..in pots and on border. I liked them because they still had decent thickness of flesh for small pepper.

Oh..and to add..I did used to save my own seeds and they come true ok.. ;)...untill I had 'couple' of gap years from growing them and when I remembered them again..seeds wasn't viable anymore.. ::) Wasn't too happy about that.. >:(

Jay, I know you know because we have touched base but for others I have just recieved seeds of Triton pepper from Utah uni, it is a dwarf plant but with full sized fruit, designed for under lights or in space.

I am pretty sure I have Cherry Pick seeds. Will look.

Your pepper sounds very interesting

I do have Cherry Pick seeds but just a few,

I need to put an order into a company for tomato seeds and could add them on if you need them.

Tomatogrowers supply have them if you prefer to order direct, they will ship to the UK..Totally tomatoes usually have peppers too but haven;t checked there as I don't have their catalogue

I am going to order Cajun Belle which is a warm sweet new one that only grows 2 feet high, 2011 AAs winner so need to try it. thinking about buying  Mini Belle red  and yellow for next year, they are small like Cherry Pick but have never grown  them before

Cherry Pick do sound good. But ideally I'm thinking I'd like to trial a smaller growing variety around the 12'' mark. Triton probably are spot on.

I'll check out those others you mention Jeannine, thanks.

Well my pepper is small, really quite cute, but just not doing much!
