Hi, has anyone any personal experience with this one.It is said to be like a cross of cabbage and kale and apparently doesn't smell when cooked. It is rather loose leaved and the ribs can be used as a seperate veggie.

I have read conflicting reports of it;s winter hardiness, so hoping someone on here might know before I decide to plant it

I haven't tried overwintering it yet, but I have some growing. I want seed, so I hope it comes through!

We're probably growing different varieties, since this is a type of cabbage rather than a variety. As far as I know, there's just the one UK source of generic seed of an unnamed variety. Mine's Gloire de Portugal; I can't take pics till I demolish the peas it's growing through, but it's bright green, with no red at all. To judge from what pics I've seen, the colour varies quite a bit.

It will be interesting to compare how they do as the season progresses.
