Please anyone any good ideas to show onions on, rings of some sort. What do other people use.

I just cut down toilet rolls and fold one end in for the onion to stand on

I made little rings for my shallots....was worried sand would be spilt on brand new polished floor in our refurbished corn exchange and we'd get into trouble.

I used fall pipe for onions and sand for shallots!

I used three lengths of fall pipe I.e. 1" - 1.5" -2" long  and covered them with a square of black cloth ( velvet preferred)

This allowed me to tier the onions which improves the general layout of the onion exhibit
