Building a BBQ with Boiler bricks

Hi All,

I have seen someone on freecycle giving away loads of boiler bricks and i am trying to convince the husband to use these to build a BBQ maybe a BBQ with a clay type oven on the side for pizzas etc

Is that A) practical and B) can i do that with these type of bricks?
