toms indoor or out?

Hi all sorry if i sound stupid but does anyone know if alacanti and money maker tomato plants indoor or out door .Thanks ATB .Roy

They are indoor..but..both will grow outdoors but you  will not get the same results, they do better in a greenhouse.

Just for curiosity, I guess you are thinking about buying plants..have you got them yet?

The reason I say this is..oh so tactfully.. there are much better flavoured ones available and many of them will grow happilly outside.

Well, I know many people don't like MoneyMaker. But I grew them last year and I found them quite OK :) maybe I have strange tomato taste.
I grew them successfully outside, BUT I am in southern Brittany so we do get a reasonably warm summer here, over 25 degC usually. I find them to be a little late compared with the others, about a week or so behind, but they are a heavy cropper.
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

hi many years ago before i had a greenhouse I allways planted moneymaker in the garden and had a usefull crop. alicaniti in the greenhouse just started to ripen happy days ;D peter
