to late to plant peas?

OOps clicked OK too quickly: I have Early Onwards, Kelvedon Wonder and Alderman tall peas - what would be the best bet at this time of year?

Any of those should be fine if you grow for eating..as for seed saving ..first two should be fine..alderman taking much longer for maturity.. :-\ ..should do.. ;)

Thanks - it will be for eating. Actually to save seed, I usually just leave on the plant any pods that I have been too slow in gathering and that are already over matured. I let them get bigger till they dry out. I generally take them away when I dig up the plant over the summer.
Yes Alderman are a bit slow, my first Kelvedon are almost finished and the Alderman are just getting peas now! The pods are a lot bigger though.
