Spoke to a friend and his dog at a dog hotel is £23 a night, two weeks holiday, I said I would water his allotment, but he is getting 'allotment redrawal symptons, as he will miss the dog and his allotment.  If I haven't got the cats, would have the dog. Next door want me to fed their cat, in August, and the chickens have to be fed at the allotment, but not too good with chickens, better with dogs and cats.  So thought if I got insured, and I love animals, I could earn some money looking after pets.  Obviously I do it for friends, neighbours for nothing, but thought there is money to be earned in this.  Hope all the pets don't die on me, but would have to get insured, and get details of the pets vets, but think I would love it, only for two weeks and then the pets could go home.

Some people have pet sitters in their own homes. The house is more secure that way. One of the girls from our local vets does house calls, feeds the animals & takes them out for walks (if applicable, obviously). There is money to be made from it & so much better than just dumping pets because you are of on your jollies. The RSPCA have said they have more animals being abandoned during the holiday season.

why not go for it Borlotti.
A friend of mine uses a dog walker, she's not too well at the moment. And when she has to go into hostpital the same dog walker will be looking after the dog for her. That way my friend doesn't have to worry about her dog. Oh, and the charges are pretty high! So there's is money in it  ;)

We usually go camping so we take the dog with us (going tonight for a week! hope the rain stays away)! But next year we are getting married so need to sort the dog out with a place to stay while we honeymoon. He didn't like the last visit at the boarding kennels (nervous dog) so I've been looking into this:

Prices seem pretty good, and it's so much better for the pet as they are getting good attention rather than being shut behind bars for 23 hours a day. If you look at the top there's an option to franchise, so I guess if you were to do that you'd get bookings through them, and they'd sort your insurance and also your pickup vehicle for you.

Good luck!
