Any thoughts on the best way to anchor a shed down on a fairly exposed plot ? It's 8*6, sitting on a slab base on drymix. Noticed that some neighours have angle iron driven in at one or more corners, some have rope slung over the roof and anchored into the ground with pegs. Some have nothing.

Now I have the thing up I really don't want to collect it from another plot(s) further down the line !

:-\ :-\ I have an extremely narrow, small shed in a fairly open site, so I worried about it blowing away. Problem solved by putting as much heavy stuff in it as possible, but that's just me. Seriously though, we put two stout bits of wood about 3 feet into the ground at the back of the shed and nailed them to the shed wall, seems to have worked so far.

yea, unless hurricane Katrinas little sister comes this way, as long as its nailed to the floor, and  full of stuff it isnt going anywhere. My floor is made of a deck of pallets overlaid with some recycled PTG (from my mates kitchen wall), and its screwed to that with six coach bolts, isnt going ANYWHERE!!

If you really want to, dig a post hole each side, stick in a length of angle, screw angle to shed (preferable where theres a batten) , fill with postcrete (the post hole, not the shed. Although filling the shed with concrete WILL stop it blowing away,  it limits it use as a storage facility..........)
Nothing is ever as it seems. With appropriate equations I can prove this.
