Can I plant tulips now?

Tidying out my shed today I found a box of tulip bulbs that I had lost. Is it OK to plant them now? I'm afraid they'll have dried out if I wait till the normal planting time.

Plant them out - they'll definitely dry out and die if you leave them until autumn.
