Stop hogging it all!! Drained one butt today & the second is probably about half full. One more to go at, but then we're onto metered water. Not fun. Poor plants starting to seriously suffer. :'(

Only upside is that I needed to get the end butt drained in order to get it back into position properly after the scaffold for the roof knocked it. Every cloud & all that  ::)

Just a few drops here in Nantes  :'( :'(
It's really dry, the soil underneath is cool but not very damp any longer... And my two rain barrels are empty more or less. Luckily we have water on site but I have to walk further to get it :)
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

Nothing to write home about for 2 months in my part of N Yorks... Cannot remember the last time I saw any.  I have some forecast for later this week; I'll believe it when I see it.  Whitby had a huge storm at the weekend, but when I got home it was bone dry, and not a drop had landed apparently.
