What an interesting thread :)
I have only ever grown my toms in a g'house, however this year I want to produce more so will be trying some outdoors with

finger  & toes crossed. I would be gutted if my toms got blight :'(

Jeannine..now that I've got quite number together of these resistant types..I think you've 'forced' me to sow yet another lot of tomatoes..and I thought I've finished with tomato seeds for this year ::)
My GH will be full of other toms so I'm going to do blight trial by growing all outdoors...are yours going be in or out?

Just as an afterthought, all claim resistance to varying degrees, howeber Lizzano claims tolerant.

The above list now has cherries, mid sized toms, plums and faily big one.

I'm going to do just a little experiment this summer...I just couldn't wait with my seeds untill next year.. ::)
So my plant is just couple of plants of each and outdoors only..no half hearted gently aproach with me ;D..and I pray for the indian summer ::)
And the 2012, with bit more forward planning I'll do trial by growing in and out.
Thanks for all that info..I think I'll got all other details together..
I'm just not sure if I should hope proper blight year to test the resistance..or no blight and have abundance of fruit.. :-\ ::)

Jeannine
