Get so few gardening days now with work etc,  but today was wonderful.
Although I got up and saw the frost and regretted planting the Acidanthera bulbs out, after lunch spend a few hours weeding in the sunshine with the birds singing - blissful!

I agree, I was at my plot at 8.30 this morning, staggered back at 3pm but got loads done, and it was very sunny all day...bliss! ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

With such a hard winter I have been suffering withdrawal  effects of not being able to do much down the lottie. I took one look at the sun this morning and was down there by 7.30 and stayed until 2.30. Oh the joy of getting my hands dirty. Put in 4 rows of shallots prepared my onion bed and put in 5 rows of broad beans (I love them). Got back home wacked out but I am a very happy lad. It really felt like spring has come my soft friut bushes are all in full bud with the promise of a good harvest. Lets all hope that for once this year we will have a good summer.

Yes it was such a lovely day... sadly I have been stuck in front of a laptop all day working on my monthly diploma assignment. Only managed a 1/2hr break down at the plot to sort the hens out and check all was ok.

Would have given anything today to swap writing about oogenesis and spermatogenesis etc etc.. with gardening on the plot. LOL
