Sunday Tea

Well I am going back to my youth this weekend, I have already sorted out the bread and to this I shall make a Suet Pudding with lashings of custard for the family. A prime target is the eldest as she is coming home for that reason alone.
Dads food is always a hit with kids who enjoy good food.
Ruth Mott is the person to inspire you with the old recipes from the wartime kitchen or even when she worked alongside Harry Dodson, What a programme that was. To me those times were not the best but had to be the greatest to live through.

I hate to see the kids drooling over the fine food at Sunday tea so I unlocked the door to the dining room and allowed them to smell the food. :P
Shame they were not allowed to eat until the housework was done. :-\
If I had my way they would all be slaves until they left home. ;D

;D..bit of hard work doesn't hurt...I have always thought that kids need to do some labouring. All this modern day pampering and driving them doing this and that just doesn't make them behave ::) They should only speak when they have been told to do so! :o :-X ;)
