Hardy fushias

We planted a hardy fushia in the school garden this springtime.  It did not look very happy (or alive) after the snow.  Will it be dead?  South Hertfordshire area.  Thanks

Probably not. You won't see any new shoots for a while. Cut it back on St Georges day.
When I get old I don't want people thinking

 That should come good Lilyflower, when you have trimed it back at the right time a little feed would benefit the plant . ;D ;D
