Kids can be so nice

We went to see my mom today at the home only to find that they were expecting a school choir to arrive at any minute. When they came they must have only been 10 or 11 years old but when they started singing I could have cried. The old people suddenly seemed to come alive. Even the ones that sit and do nowt were taking notice.
When I got home I emailed the school to thank them and the head is going to read it to them in assembly tomorrow.
It was so nice to see the young and old together interacting even if it was for 45 minutes.

It does make you wonder what we (society) do to them in the teens doesn't it...  :-X
