What a lot of information.  My heads spinning.  Each reply which mentions a machine makes me think I will go for that. I have decided to treat myself regardless of cost, getting lazy in my old age.  Just want to be sure I will like the drink they make.  Ace has me worried as I don't like strong coffee.

I would suggest you find a demo in a store first, or a friend that has one. If you do not like strong coffee you could be wasting your money. But if you stick to arabica beans you get the taste without the strength. Try a standard costa coffee or starbucks next time you are out.
