Anyone from Cumbria

I have just heard that there is very heavy snow falling in South Cumbria, Particularly  on the Barrow Road, My daughter is on her way home from Wales to her home in Cartmel, she will not answer her mobile when driving and will be completely unaware of the snow. If there is anyone out there who lives in the vicinity could you let me know how bad it is?
