Got some seed, anyone tried this? Any tips? It says self seeds!

I've grown it. Pretty plants, insipid fruit. By all means grow some but I doubt you will do it regularly, last time it came up that was the general impression from those who contributed...  :-\

Pretty plants (not really, but for a spinach - yes) but lousy bland fruits and lousy spinach too - tastes like paper.

I can think of dozens of more beautiful vegetables...

With a microholding you always get too much or bugger-all. (I'm fed up calling it an allotment garden - it just encourages the tidy-police).

The simple/complex split is more & more important: Simple fertilisers Poor, complex ones Good. Simple (old) poisons predictable, others (new) the opposite.

It sounds fab and I've grown it once, similar to the above posts really. I've not bothered again, although it took a few years before it stopped popping up in the beds!
