Know your Onions

Last year all my onoins were rotten on the top and they (well most of em) are exactly the same this year, what am i doing wrong, i know we had a lot of rain earlier in the year but i pulled the onions and stored them in my dry shed.

i put them into a net childs toy holder which hangs from the shed roof with about 4/5 compartments

In damp years I prefer to lay mine upside down for at least a few days, having said that; with me its more likely to be a few weeks unless I need the space.

This allows any moisture that has built up in the neck of the bulb to dry out a bit prior to storing them.
