We are having a census next year  and lots of temp work will be available.Great  for someone who could do with earning a bit extra.

Don't seem a minute after the last one. I read somewhere and I expect it is a load of bull, that if we all put 'gardener' in the slot for your religion they have to list it. If enough of us do it then gardening will have to be accepted as a religion and we would be able to sway all sorts of arguments about more allotments being provided even get them free from rates, rents, etc.

Be good if it was true. The Jedi Knights done it last time and there were more Jedi than sihks, judism  or buddhists.

Well me, Kev and Telboy would volunteer to be high priests, if you could round up a few nubile virgins so we could have a practise run at it. ;D No need to be all that particular with Kevs, any old sort will do as long as their nellies are not like spaniels ears.(He's from Enfield so he won't know the difference) Telboy just needs someone strong enough to carry his golf clubs and polish his balls.
Don't send any from the Birmingham area for obvious reasons, they would rather be pigging out on chocolate than furthering the course of gardening,  you would be hard pushed to find one anyway. ;)

My OH has done it the last two times, and next year he hopes to do it again. It is very hard work, and our house usually looks like a post office, which entirely takes over our dining room. Think it will be the last year they do it like this, before technology takes over. busy_lizzie
