Egg and chips plant?

I have heard of it, but now I have seen it.
Decided this morning to dig up the last few International Kidney spuds - first plant produced ten spuds and an egg!
The local fox has already left me socks, wooley hats,pants and dead pigeons - dread to think what comes next....

LOL. We get duck eggs in most of our beds at some time or other; the first few times was a surprise but we are used to it now.
Egg and chips though - like it!

I had a flashback to bringing home a ducks egg as a child (not allotment related at all), having found it somewhere. I dropped it, it was rotten and our house made everyone nauseous for quite a while!!
