Ok I have a delicate problem on my hands....one of the tenants is close to tears. Apparently, whilst she was away down South, her tenant neighbour decided to use weed killer along the edges of his plot and the path. Unfortunately the chemicals have gone on to her plot. Not good news. I'm sure in our rules it says that we are not allowed to use chemicals......is this a general rule for all allotment holders? It also seems unfair for the rest of us who never use chemicals. I hate seeing dis-harmony among allotment tenants... :(

No rules on our plot about using chemicals.

Legally she can sue the balls off the guy who sprayed providing she can prove they died from weedkiller poisoning.

Otherwise all she can do is complain to the lotty association.
Nothing is ever as it seems. With appropriate equations I can prove this.

You just never know what you're neighbour has in mind do you. I tell folks how I hate weed killer as soon as they mention the topic. Apart from a serious accident a few years ago, it has worked.
