Sorry Purple Heather but the weather in my part of Canada is absolutely identical to the UK, some extra days here then Hull but that is the same as Hull to the South Coast anyway.

Pauline. I have never had a problem before to change profile info but yesterday thought I would put my location, entered as necessary, clicked change profile but it hasn't appeared under my avatar but for some strange reason it now show Hay Lorna!!!! Any ideas?

So many folks want answers to questions such as - When do I sow? When do I plant out? When do I harvest? Is this hardy? The answers to this sort of query almost always depend on whereabouts in the UK the questioner lives. Certainly, if I advised on the basis of what works for me - (right on the south coast) - my advice could be worse than useles to someone living in the far north or east of the country.

Where a questioner's location is not given - (to have any chance of being helpful) - any reply should begin with 'That depends on where yoiu are.'

So much easier if this information is instantly available!

Current weather info is also completely irrelevant unless a location is given.

An additional bonus, as has already been seen, is finding out who are your near A4A neighbours! The opportunity for all sorts of lovely meetings is too good to miss!
