Capel Manor Gardens.

Had an absolutely cracking day at Enfield yesterday, young Lorna and I met up at Georgie's house and then went to the gardens. It was very hot but had a few sit downs in the shade. Couldn't believe how reasonably priced the lunches were. Came home with Lorna's boot full of some 25 plants that Georgie had kindly saved for me. Thanks Georgie. Young Lorna came home with a new enthusiasm for gardening. No traffic hold ups and I was chauffeured.

Glad you enjoyed the day out Lorna. 

My friend has just moved to Enfield Lock.  She has a 3 bedroom end of terrace cottage with the Lea Navigation in front and the River Lea behind.  It looks idyllic from the photo and the way she describes it.   When we visit her we will have to go to Capel Manor Gardens.  I didn't realise London had such beautiful places within it.
