Hi there
My local horticultural society has its Rose show tomorrow and whilst I thought I wouldnt have any Roses in time it now looks like I will.
So the stupid question is..  Do I put the Rose in a vase of water or something and should I include foliage?

Thanks!

I presume you would remove lower foliage as it will go off in the water...........also would think you should remove thorns.........sounds like fun, hope you do well  :)

Put the stem(stems depending on class requirements) in a container/vase of water. Do NOT add any foliage. The only foliage should be the leaves on the rose stem but you should remove any leaves which will be under water. Thorns can be left on.
