Thinking about what to plant where our elephant garlic and autumn onion sets are  - we removed seed heads today

Leeks will follow the broadies, kale will follow the early spuds, so thought about some african marigolds to add some more colour

Question is, suggested sowing time is spring, so will they still catch up and flower if I sow some now ?

I'm still planting mine out from modules, if that's any help.

But they germinate fairly quickly, so why not give it a whirl. (But - if you're thinking crops rather than colour, wallflowers go in soon.)

The seasons are so widdershins that I suggest you try anything! (Keep records just in case it works, but be prepared to put it down to experience. And next year will be totally different!!)

cheers  Trevor_D ;D
Decided to go for both, picked up some Crackerjack and sowed in propagator, and will sow wallflowers in seedbed on the weekend
