Can anyone supply any thoughts or experience of using coffee grounds and tea leaves as a mulch or compost please? I have a supply of both but  I am worried about any adverse effects.

Toby (gardeners world) was extoling the vitue of adding both to the compost heap.  I think it was on last week - catch it on iplayer.  He also shows you how to make a compost bin but I didn't have the heart to tell him it won't last long being made from plywood   ;D

On Gardeners World coffee grounds were put around plants as a slug deterrent. They won't go over them evidently.
