To shut or not shut coop pop hole door!

We have a secure chicken run, with electric wire fence. Could we keep the door open at night?

If you think it is safe then leave it open to make life easy. I leave pop holes open in 5 runs.

I leave my chicken cree bop-hole open all year round at the allotment.  On a weekend and holidays I don't have to get up extra early to go and let them out.  Just wander down around 10 ish

Mine are in the garden so its easy.

Thanks guys - we thought about the automatic door but have gone for electric fence.The thing is that when we put them to bed we took in their food and water. Now we will have to leave out so am worried about rats.  First night tonight. Watch this space.
