Jemp Propargator

Finally after a few decades of gathering dust and a nest of spiders in the plug, I have got the old heated propagator up and running.
The dust was at least an inch thick on the box and the instructions could still be read.
Thought I would try my hand at a plant called Kochia( not sure if it is spelt right )  as a space filler. Also I have put in some African Marigolds and Delphiniums to add colour.
I will just have to wait and see how things turn out over the next few months.

At last I have some seeds to grow in this.
They are coming through with the Delphs. not showing just yet.

Here is the result of moving the toms in for a few nights.
They have put on a bit of growth and I am looking forward to sampling the fruits of my labour later this year.

My big propagator is a Jemp... the Botanic thermostatically controlled double one.... can't imagine growing stuff without it these days....

Is there anything that can be put into the propagator now to grow on or to sow for the season ahead???

Sweet corn, runner/french beans, even squash & courgettes, tomatillos, huckleberries - they will be up in a flash.

I have a Jemp fan heater for the greenhouse and its now 16 years old and works fine - they don't make them like that anymore.

Have all the sweetcorn ready to go out when they have grown a bit more. Runners are in the ground, Don't like Squash though the rest  have never tried it, love courgettes but no room in the space we have. Never seen a Tomatillo or huckleberry so I can't comment on those.
Intrigues me as to what can be grown though. Such a wide variety of goodies to have and try out.

Mine'#s about to be filled with squash and it's relatives (outdoor cukes, gherkins etc) and sweetcorn.... also this year I have had Tomatillo and Pepino (melon pear) plus I expect I'll be running more Basil and oregano through it soon too....
