Thanks,  lots of info there to keep me going. Has any one got electric power in the shop.Ours is dark and cold in the winter, not very inviting.

One of my neighbours has a calor gas heater in their shed, you could see if you can get one on freecycle maybe. You can get cheap solar shed lights taht dont need any power,
