indoor tree

[Poppy Mole]

I have just re-vamped my north facing, very light "garden room" & would like a small palm type tree,which although was about 5ft high didn't take up much space in width to stand in the corner. does anyone have any ideas what I should look for?
The room is always warm (I'm a hot-house plant myself!) & not very high.
