Yes... not worth it. Grow as a decorative edging plant. The "strawberries" are tasteless and seedy...  but visually the plant has a place...  :)

I agree with Saddad - the 'strawberries' have virtually no flavour or sugar content though they aren't unpleasant if you are thirsty.

Very similar to supermarket fruit in fact (and free) so anyone who actually enjoys (or has got used to) that degree of blandness might find them interesting.

If I remember rightly they look a lot like the red type of lumpfish 'caviare' - so maybe a food-arranging opportunity there if you like that kind of thing...

Not my style though - it's a minor bonus if my fruit & veg look nice when they are growing, but in every other respect the 3 most important things are the flavour, the flavour and the flavour.

With a microholding you always get too much or bugger-all. (I'm fed up calling it an allotment garden - it just encourages the tidy-police).

The simple/complex split is more & more important: Simple fertilisers Poor, complex ones Good. Simple (old) poisons predictable, others (new) the opposite.
