Please can anybody assist me with the following problem.

I have an IPod which I synced to my computer at home.   Unfortunately that computer has now died a death and I have had to replace it.   I have already downloaded Itunes to my new computer but don't know how to sync my Ipod to the new computer.   I am worried that if I do it wrong all the music and videos and photos on my Ipod will be lost.

Can anybody out there help please, preferably with step-by-step instructions.

Thank you in advance

When my computor had to be reloaded due to a virus. All my programmes went as well. It was like having a new computor. Before I downloaded the i tunes programme I plugged the ipod in and clicked computor which when opened showed the ipod as a mass storage device. I copied all the music files into  musicand all the photos into pictures

Then I downloaded itunes and copied all the music into the library. When I synced the ipod everything went on as before.  Just in case this happens again I have burned all of my music onto a dvd disc in data form so I can reload it all easier. All of my photos are stored online. I use webshots but photobucket or something similar will do. They stay there regardless of your computor giving up the ghost.

The good thing about storing all your music in data on dvd discs is that you can sell all of your cd's on ebay.
