I think the best tip you are going to get from some one who does not have a greenhouse is get one

What a shame the green houses from the programme 'Victorian Kitchen Garden' have been demolished because of the condiction they were in, I will settle for the cold frame I have built with my £12.00 heater, :)

As good as out if the heat is kept in the right place and it works what more do you need.
