I remember several posts about getting a christmas potato crop.
So what are your results how many of each variety did youharvest and how big where they.

I harvested beginning of September - the same quantity and size as I had planted.  Had to harvest early because all the halums died back.  This was my first year and I didn't feel they were worth the effort so will not bother again.

(I could of got more spuds from my local supermarket for less than I paid for the sets  ::) ::))

mine died back in September/october also.  Left them in the sack until a couple of days ago.  Better than last year with a few reasonable size but not sure if its worth the effort.

I planted 2.5 kgs of first earlies in a greenhouse in mid August, had a feel last week and there is nothing at all on them.  :(

I didn't plant second crop this year after 2 disasters in previous years, but I did plant a load of my normal crop s late plus a few sprouting left overs. I've just broken them out of their frozen bins and have a respectable haul, certainly enough for about 5 meals for 6 people - and I've still got about 6 bins to harvest.

I shall most likely do the same next year.

Liberated my second sack today and got about 2 - 2.5 kg.  mighty pleased with them I'll say.  Tastewise a bit bland I thought though.
