Got my lottie - Hurrah

Right, well I made my first visit to the lottie today for 2005  :)

We were keen, first ones down there, at around 9.45. Hurrah, my garlics are up I have something growing on my plot!! Other than weeds that is  :-\ I couldn't believe it I had couch grass growing where we'd been rough digging the plot.

The dug over sections seem to have broken up nicely, now I just need to get the couch out. Spent 20 or so minutes grubbing around and getting as many rhiozomes from the top of the soil as I could in one section - I forsee many more hours spent doing that.

Made arrangements with the site secretary to have the grassy top section of the plot 'flamed' when there is a dry sunday, I hope that is soon, as it will make digging a whole lot easier.

I will be sowing my onion seeds soon, and will try planting my shallots soon too. Hurrah, spring is nearly here  :D :D :D
