rover 200 spares?

We've just had our poor old rover 200 Mot'd and it passed with little cost However......the electric window ,drivers side is stuffed and a new mechanism costs over £250 :o PLUS vat,surely you can get them second hand ?our garage are smashing folk and are going to look on ebay but I woundered if any of you bright folk have any suggestions ?The window is shut so that's one blessing :)
