My allotment society has a web site and we'd like a weekly "what you should be doing on your allotment" kind of thing - you know, 50-100 words and a picture or two.  It's not something the committee feel qualified to contribute and we don't just want to send the members to another site because we'd like the content on our own site to raise the profile of the society.  It's a cheek to ask, but is anyone interested in contributing something like this to our web site?  Maybe you're doing it already somewhere else and wouldn't mind posting on our site too?  Thanks.

I think that's a great idea Unwashed. And it would help keep the website nice and up to date. It's one of my gripes (read one of many...!) that websites aren't updated enough, and I lose interest and don't go back to them. I know the local papers always used to have syndicated writers / articles - but probably too pricey for the likes of an allotment society  ;)

nothing personal Saddad!  ;D

Been thinking about this, and you could make it nice and specific for your site - soil type, location etc, you just need to find someone!
