Improving AOL messages

Does anyone know how I can add different fonts animations and stationery to my aol emails? 

I've got interesting fonts downloaded, but can't access them in my emails.  I'm feeling the urge to send something exciting to the grandchildren for Guy Fawkes, so suggestions/instructions (preferably idiot proof) and all that would be gratefully received.  ???

Fonts dont really work in emails as no matter what font you use it isnt going to work unless the other person has the font as well..

Perhaps use a web based ecard instead..
