heating a mini greenhouse

just a quickie what is the best way of keeping a mini greenhouse warm.

Well, there are many ways to do this but  I would suggest:

1. If there is a choice place the greenhouse in a sheltered spot out of winds and as close to the house as possible (avoiding shade though) - that way its not going to get as cold in the first place.
2. Insulate any area that are facing away from the sun -  to save heat loss.
3. I would go for an electric thermostatically controlled fan heater. You can find  cheap ones that come with a 'frost-guard' setting - they only switch on if the temp approaches freezing.
I would germinate seeds that require high temperatures in the house and move them out into the greenhouse asap (to avoid them getting spindly).
