I have never tried the fibre boards but have grown a lot of mushrooms over the years, using fresh spawn is one of the most important factors in my opinion for that reason I would suggest looking at http://www.annforfungi.co.uk/shop/index.php rather than taking your chances with a kit which has probably been incorrectly stored in a warehouse for months.
