I've just been digging my lottie over for the winter, when I got home I couldn't find my mobile !

I'm not digging the whole plot again looking for it so it looks like I need a new mobile.

Tesco have a good selection and some of them are £20.00 off if you spend £30.00 in store.

BUT they're on Tesco's own airtime agreement. I just wondered who's network this was and what was the coverage like.

- No point buying a phone if it don't get a signal.

I don't suppose you could borrow someones mobile, ring yours and see if you can find it (up on the plot) ?

re network coverage - I'd ask people locally what's good, as they can vary hugely from one area to the next - this is someone speaking from a network black hole in Hastings. Grrrrrrr

On the news this morning tescos were selling 2 chickens for £5 and they looked a reasonable size if to spend the other £10.

I'm on a pay as you go Tesco deal. When I need extra time, like when I am away working I get topped up with £20 but they give me an extra £40 to use, any network,in the first month. The £20 does not have a time limit. 5p a minute to friends and family made my mind up. Also have yet to find a black hole when using it.

Good on them! I expect Hugh Fearnley Eatitall will be jumping up and down again because we are not buying his free range crap at £12.50 a throw.

Yep, tried that, no luck. But I guarantee you it'll turn up the day after I buy a new one, not a second before.

Twas quite an old phone anyway, none of these new fancy gizmos, but then all i want is a phone, not an entertainment system that someone might want to nick.

£30.00 groceries, £30.00 phone, and £10.00 units will get me somethine quite young and chav like.

You should try the centre of St Ives Cambridgeshire...black hole for most networks! >:(

Ironically, the only place I can't get a signal is my local Tesco store.  ::) (Otherwise I've no complaints abut the  network coverage.)

Actually my son had tesco for awhile and it was quite good. In fact there is credit still on the SIM but my husband accidently locked it thinking he knew the pin when he didn't.

Tesco Ad on TV at the moment: £30pcm unlimited texts, calls and internet (less premium rate numbers). Another nail in the coffin for the landline is.........

I changed from Orange PAYG (16p/min, 10p text), black hole where I live, to AZDA PAYG (Vodaphone, 8p/min, 4p text). I changed because BT Openreach managed to mess up my connection when installing a new line next door, I complained to Tiscali, who got them out the next day and they credited my account with £6. I wouldn't go back to BT, even though I worked for PO Telephones and BT for 12 years.

Most mobile services fail when you get away from the trunk roads and towns. They've got a long way to go with coverage. I've had better service in Inverewe and Kinloss in Scotland than at home.
