Going around ourplots on the Open Day, I saw some late planted DFB the plotholder called 'Pongo' which apparently are designed to be a late sowing filet type. They looked very good, anyone grown/tasted them? Any good? ???
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I tried a late bean last year. Good germination but eaten by slugs and beaten by frost.

Once the greenhouse is up and running will give them another go under glass.

I got these from Marshalls a couple of years ago, and we had loads of lovely beans.  Repeated the process this year, and the slugs have had all the plants.  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Good late crop, though.  :)
