Philips energy saver bulbs for £1 for 5

In the baskets they have in Argos - Philips, 14w (75w equivalent) 10 year guarantee!... apparently they've had the offer for ages, but these are £1.50 each in other places. Got meself 50years worth yesterday!

Seems I'm behind the times! We're still using the old fashioned Tungsten ones as I bought a job lot about 10 years ago but I did try some energy savers a few years ago & was sure they were about a fiver... Still amazing that these vary so much in price though!

We don't have a poundland in Guildford, the county town of Surrey! Might be a gap in the market for a £10 store selling overpriced tat to Surrey housewives...  :-X

You need to cross the border for the likes of poundland, 99p store and Wilkos (should be having their gardneing sale at the moment).
