ideas needed for fancy dress costume

for my daughters 21st party no set theme but needs to be inexpensive and i need to be able to still sort out the food etc whilst wearing it
please help running out of time lol

What about a mad scientist ... white coat, spiked up hair, glasses, slight blacking to face as if explosion from test tube.  YOu can cut tatters at the bottom of the coat as well ... or even use an old white shirt.

there are 4 of us to dress myself hubby stepdaughter 17 and stepson 15 so if you have ideas for any or have old costumes i would be interested lol think we may have one for stepson a jedi knight costume

You could keep it very simple and do head gardener and under gardeners.  Iexpect you have loads of suitable stuff around for that.

Something pretty easy is a Hawaiian theme,  garlands are cheap to make or buy, blokes wear loud shirts and shorts or swimming trunks, you can also do cheap cocktails in Lidl pineapples as glasses, we did this for our daughter and 23 friends and it went down very well!
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴
